By Train

Deutsche Bahn (DB) offers long-distance train connections (ICE / IC / EC) from major German hubs to „Osnabrück Hbf“ (Osnabrück Central Station) e.g. from Hamburg, Bremen or the Ruhr and Rhine-Main areas. The Amsterdam-Berlin rail link also runs via Osnabrück.

As a special offer, „Osnabrück Event Services“ and Deutsche Bahn provide the „DB Veranstaltungsticket“ (Event Ticket) at a nationwide fixed price from every Germany train station to Osnabrück.

You can travel to Osnabrück in an environmentally friendly way at a small price. Book your ticket online:

When searching and booking via the button above, you will find the available „Event Tickets“ on your individual route as well as any other current promotion tickets. This way, you can secure the cheapest option for yourself.

By Car

The A1, A30 and A33 motorways lead into the Osnabrück region. For directions simply use the Google Map above.

By Long-distance Bus

German and European long-distance bus providers serve Osnabrück, as well.

By Plane

The closest international airport is „Münster / Osnabrück“ (FMO). The X15 bus service connects FMO and Osnabrück Central Station at regular intervals. A taxi ride costs approx. € 75.

Major international airlines fly directly to „Düsseldorf Airport“ (DUS). The RE 2 regional express train allows you to travel straight from the airport station to Osnabrück Central Station.

To reduce your and our contribution to climate change, we encourage you to travel to the Congress by land and only fly if there is no other reasonable option. If you do fly, we recommend making a donation to a recognised CO2 offsetting scheme, e.g. the German „Klimakollekte“ (Climate Offertory).
